A half day workshop facilitated by Chris Skellett, Clinical Psychologist, and based on his recently released book 'When Happiness is not Enough'. This book looks at how our lifestyle can become compromised by an excessive focus on easy, indulgent pleasure, or else an excessive drive towards achievement and success. We all have a tendency to either 'being relaxed' or to 'getting things done', and know that at times, the balance can get lost!

The workshop looks at how the Pleasure Achievement Principle plays out in relationships, in our leisure activities, and in our workplace. It asks how we develop these patterns, and what attitudes we affirm and encourage in those around us.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in lifestyle balance. It provides the opportunity to reflect on our personal lifestyles, and whether there are any specific changes that we need to make.

It is also of value to counsellors, therapists, and life coaches in their work with clients, and handouts, plus a complimentary copy of the book, are included in the registration fee of $115.

Chris is well known for his engaging, thought-provoking approach to his work, and this workshop forms part of a 4 city North Island tour. Places are limited to 30 people, so register as soon as you can!
