The Auckland Youth Symphony Orchestra is the premier full-time youth orchestral institution in New Zealand. Founded in 1948, the AYO is designed to bridge the gap between school orchestras and adult professional groups.
They are joined by the Auckland Youth Choir, a mixed-voice choir that continually strives for a world-class standard in choral music performance.
