Highwic - the NZ Historic Places Trust property in Newmarket - will host the first-ever Auckland's Own Art Deco Day Out event on March 25 (1-6pm).

Sponsored by Westfield 277 in Newmarket, the festival promises to be a great day of family fun for people who have a nostalgic streak of the Jazz era. The event will feature the St Peter's College Jazz Band and the Mike Nesbit Trio.

There will also be plenty of parking on-site at Highwic for vintage cars (please enter the grounds from Mortimer Pass).

Refreshments available for purchase.
