This concert features Per Arne Glorvigen, one of today’s foremost players of the bandoneón, the folk concertina of Argentina. Glorvigen met and was inspired to take up the instrument by Astor Piazzolla whose name is synonymous with tango.
Turina and Ginastera to the mix and you have a concert that not only represents the many facets of the Latin diaspora, but also its many expressions of exuberance and passion.
A concert in which you and the orchestra cut loose and enjoy an evening of expressive and exciting music.
