No Christmas season is complete until Auckland Choral has presented its annual performances of Handel’s great oratorio Messiah. Come and hear some of the greatest music of all time telling the greatest story of all time. A perennial favourite since its first performance in Dublin in 1742, it has been included in Auckland Choral’s concert seasons since 1855. We welcome back from Holland Baroque specialist Lauren Armishaw, last heard with Auckland Choral in Bach’s B minor Mass. Alto soloist Kate Spence and David Griffiths, bass, are firm favourites with Auckland audiences, and we are pleased to welcome from the United States tenor soloist Dana Wilson for his first performance in New Zealand.
For more information about the concert contact the Auckland Choral Administration Manager, (phone (09) 358 2892 or email email@example.com).
