This spectacular exhibition celebrates Tawharanui Open Sanctuary’s 10th year.
Art in the Woolshed exhibition is an opportunity to view investment art, contemporary and landscape painting, sculpture, ceramics, glasswork and photography by leading and emerging artists. The exhibition is held in the transformed woolshed at Tawharanui Regional Park, with large sculptures displayed in the pohutukawa-studded area adjacent to the lagoon.
The exhibition shop offers smaller works and art and craft items for sale. Art works may be paid for by cash, cheque, Eftpos, or major credit cards. All funds raised through Art in the Woolshed 2012 will support current projects at Tawharanui. Good coffee and quality food are available from “The Coffee Kitchen”. Nature Abounds, Art in the Woolshed 2012 is coordinated by Alison Stanes. The exhibition is organised by Tawharanui Open Sanctuary volunteers with the valued assistance of the exhibiting artists, and Auckland Council.
Tawharanui Regional Park is a one and a quarter hour drive north of Auckland via Warkworth and Matakana.
Open 10 am to 4 pm daily from 10 to 18 March.
Free admission donations welcome. Exhibiting artists are listed on our website www.tossi.org.nz
