This project has been running for over 15 years (according to very good sources) and is held offsite at the Government Gardens near the band Rotunda and the Te Runanga Teahouse.

A free event, the Arts Village has been organising it each year as a public service, with volunteer effort from our Trust board, as well as many others attached to the Village.

At this event, you will find artists working onsite to create their work as well as sell it. This isn't just a market. You will also be able to enjoy local musicians performing for free in a range of styles.

Come for some wonderful food created by the Steiner Kindergarten with their famous banana ice-cream and other homemade treats. Buy some hand-made crafts and enjoy a day out listening to music by 6 local acts.

Supported by Creative Communities Rotorua District, this event is a local institution.
