The hit of Heritage and Arts Festivals, the Art & Architecture of the City Walk, runs on the second Saturday of every month. This popular event explores outstanding heritage buildings and visits the art establishments which operate within.
Leading Auckland city art dealers and exhibitors – Art of the City – explain the dynamic between their galleries and the art they display, includes Sue Crockford Gallery, Anna Miles Gallery and Gus Fisher Gallery.
Visit the iconic Endeans and Blackett's Buildings, architect Peter Beaven’s unique Canterbury Arcade at 47 High Street and the Gus Fisher Gallery in the old Broadcasting Studio “fortress” at the top of Shortland Street.
As you stroll between the buildings, your Auckland Walks guide will tell some of the stories of Auckland.
Meet outside the Harbour Information Centre, Pier 1, Downtown Ferry Terminal, 99 Quay Street, Auckland.
