Monthly antique fair held inside on the first Saturday and following Sunday of each month. The market has a huge array of items for sale with new exciting stock and stalls each month.

Art, retro, furniture, textiles, china, vintage toys & dolls, crystal, pens, pottery, books, records, postcards, tools, musical instruments, cameras & electrical, ethnic, kiwana, military items, vintage clothing and much more. Don’t miss out on a bargain!

Saturday 12pm-5pm: free parking!
Come on Saturday & miss the crowds & confusion of the Avondale Market (it can be hard to find our doorway entrance on a Sunday as the outdoor market also coincides at the same time)!

Sunday 8am, 2pm: the fair coincides with the outdoor flee market. Parking is $3 & a $2 entry fee is charged.

I have just read the below comments and thought I must elaborate on the collectors market held in at the Avondale race centre.
This collectors market is one of Auckland’s best kept secrets in my opinion. I have been shopping there for the past two or three years and always find a treasure or two to take home.
Yes on a Sunday if you don’t know where to go it can be hard to find the entrance but once you are inside you won’t want to leave. My advice would be to go on a Saturday so you don’t have to walk through the crowds of the flea market that is held outside in the car park on a Sunday.
Oh I almost forgot to mention the collectors market is only open once a month, it is the outdoor flea market that runs every Sunday.

Sorry to hear the below but you must not have found the entrance to our market through the hustle and bustle of the Avondale market which coincides with our Antique fair on a Sunday. Yes the Avondale outdoor market which is on every Sunday and has been for the last 20 years is a carboot sale with second hand goods, fruit and veggies!
Our Antique and Collectors market is very separate from this market and is held inside the Race building. Next time please come on Saturday & miss the crowds & confusion of the Avondale Market, parking is free and we do not charge an entry fee on this day. I am sure once you find us you will not be disappointed.

This market runs every sunday and is not a vintage and antique fair, this is a car boot style market selling cheap goods, general tat and fresh veggies, what a disappointment! Unless on the dates above there are some additional stalls etc, this market is advertised on lots of NZ tourist websites and the description varies - be warned.
