Ray Woolf CD release - "Ray Woolf the Sixties Collection"

August 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of Ray Woolf's involvement in all aspects of the New Zealand entertainment industry. A collection of his sixties tracks is to be released on CD tonight! In the meantime you can hear Marty Duda’s radio documentary on Radio New Zealand National Radio over the following week.

The documentary will cover Ray’s career from a 13 year old schoolboy singing skiffle in his home town of Dagenham, Essex through to his illustrious career in New Zealand after emigrating here with his parents in 1962.

Ray will perform a cameo '60s set with a group of young sixties enthusiasts - they are great! Plus of course he will perform for the balance of the evening with his regular band The Mike Walker Trio. You can expect surprise spots by other entertainers from that era.
