Join us for an evening with this NZ Post Book Award finalist for poetry, Rhian Gallagher, described by Bill Manhire as “one of the quiet, astonishing secrets of New Zealand writing.”
Rhian Gallagher’s first collection, Salt Water Creek, was published by Enitharmon Press (London) in 2003, and was shortlisted for the prestigious Forward Prize for First Collection. Her second collection of poetry, Shift, was published by Auckland University Press in 2011. Gallagher returned to New Zealand in 2005, having lived in London for eighteen years, and is now based in Dunedin.
