This Tournament is open to members of clubs affiliated to a tennis association recognized by ITF.
Eligibility for age groups is that the player is that age or under on the 31st of July 2012.
Entries must be received to Tennis Manawatu no later than 5pm 1st of July to receive family and 2 event discount. Late Entries will be taken up until 12pm 9th of July with late fee $5 payment.

Configure Rankings player code must be supplied on the entry form. If you do not have or do not know your player code please contacts your Club or Association secretary before submitting your entry form.
Seeding for all events will be at the discretion of the tournament organizers. For 16 Draws 4 seeds will be used, for 32 Draws 8 seeds will be used.
Weather Permitting Main draw Singles for the 10s will be 2 short sets first to 4 with a tiebreaker at 4 all. Super tiebreak for the 3rd set if needed. For 12s, 14s, 16, & Open all main draw singles matches are to be the best of three tiebreak sets with a conventional 12 point tiebreak at six games all. Consolation matches will be first to 9 games with a tiebreak at 8 games. Main draw doubles for the 10s is to be the same as the main draw singles. For 12s, 14s, 16s & Open all main draw doubles matches are to be the best of two tiebreak sets with a conventional 12 point tiebreak at six games all. If sets are tied an 18 point “super’ tie break will be played to determine the winner of the match. (Super Tie Break – 1st to 10 points with a margin of 2) Consolation doubles will be the same format as the singles consolation.
(Tournament Officials have the right to alter the length of matches if circumstances make it necessary).
KNOCK UP The knock up period shall not exceed five minutes.
DRAW NUMBERS No contest will be held for which insufficient entries are received.
WITHDRAWALS & DEFAULT
Tennis NZ Player Code of Conduct ruling applies. Refer to the Tennis New Zealand Player Handbook 2010
All players shall dress and present themselves in an appropriate manner for tennis. Clean and customarily acceptable tennis attire shall be worn. The referee in consultation with the tournament management has the final decision if the clothing worn is appropriate. Please refer to Tennis NZ Player Handbook or Players Code of Conduct for further clarification.
The tournament will be played in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of Tennis NZ, Rules of Tennis and Tennis NZ Player Code of Conduct. These are available from the offices of Tennis NZ on request.
PLAYER BEHAVIOUR Tennis NZ Player Code of Conduct will apply.
Refreshments will be on sale from 11am each day. A selection of drinks, powerades, savouries and toasted sandwiches etc..
