Model boats of all types and sizes will be on the King Edward Park waters at Labour weekend in Hawera’s annual Scale Ship Regatta.

Warships, tugboats and racing yachts are among the scale ships operated from the lake edge with sophisticated remote control units. As always, they will be keen to share the secrets of building and operating the model craft with spectators.

The Scale Ship regatta is a major fixture every on the South Taranaki calendar every Labour Weekend.
