2012 Manawatu Chinese Speech Competition and Cultural Day

With the support of Confucius Institute at Victoria University of Wellington this year, Manawatu Chinese Community Trust is organising its 6th annual Chinese Speech Competition and Cultural Day. Manawatu Chinese Community Trust first started this competition in 2007 which proved to be yet another great success last year with 70 competitors in 11 categories ranging between the age of 3 and 55.

All learners of the Chinese language are invited to participate in this event.

Entry is free and registration will close on Friday 14 September 2012. The competition day will be combined with several cultural activities and performances such as Tai chi demonstrations, Chinese traditional dance and music.
