12th Annual Regional Home Education Celebration with AHE

Calling everyone who home educates (aka homeschools), their supporters and anyone who's thinking about it! Take this fab chance to kick off the year, uniting some of the 2,500 or so home educated young people and their families from the Auckland region. And if you're outside Auckland, feel free to join us - we'd love to welcome you!

This event is now in its 12th year so come and celebrate this exciting and rewarding lifestyle! Put faces to names/voices, find support, share ideas, broaden your family's sense of belonging, network and have fun!

If you're just dipping your toes - starting your journey or merely looking into the option - be bold and make sure you let someone know you need help!

Bring: Your young people, partner, supporters, family (especially the sceptics!), a picnic, rug, chairs, sunhats, sunscreen and water bottles and some enthusiasm for various activities and entertainment.

Feel free to make a whole day of it, perhaps visiting the nearby Stardome Observatory (www.stardome.org.nz), exploring the rest of Cornwall Park, etc.

Parking: In accordance with our event licence, parking is restricted to the public roads around the site, eg, Manukau Road, etc. Please do not use the on-site playground & Stardome car parks which are reserved for the general public. Your co-operation is appreciated to avoid risking the loss of our future licensing.

This event is one of a number organised by volunteers of Auckland Home Educators Inc, networking across Auckland's region & beyond for current and prospective home educators
