Indie-hip hop's greatest gift to local Auckland hip hop, ZU is a producing, emceeing, song-writing extraordinaire - Putting together bangin' beats and spittin' flames over the top, ZU has it all tied up tight and as a result has a pretty bright looking future in the local music scene with his innovative brand of indie-pop friendly hip hop.

Mikey Rockwell:
An exciting edition to the line-up, Mikey Rockwell is a busy dude. When he's not collaborating with Kolab's J.Brown on the first-rate soul-funk-hip hop project, J.Brown & The Mic Smith, Mikey is producing and writing solo material, recording other artists in his own locally-renowned Kitchen Recording Studio, and shooting music videos among many other creative outlets. Mikey is a jack-of-all-trades, his soulful brand of hip hop is crowd friendly, upbeat and funky!

DJ Oh Aye!?
....Who will be spinnin' tunes on the wheels of steel to keep them heads bobbin' - Oh Aye's Facebook page has 1,700 likes, and it ain't simply because he's a super cool dude. He's a DJ, producer and tastemaker, covering a variety of electronic music's many tones, utilising elements from dubstep, to trip hop to funky hip hop and back!

We've booked him in to set the tone by hitting us with a steady supply of hip hop vibes direct from the depths of his crates, sure to keep the crowd's noggin's noddin'.

Shoutin' Preachin'
Funk-punk/jazz-hip hop 6-piece... Think early Beastie Boys with a horn section, or The Roots with 110% more ferocity!

This is the Shoutin' Preachin' Fellowship's second show. If you caught their first show at Lucha Lounge in September, you'll understand what the fuss is about. With no particular future shows lined-up, and almost 2-months passing since the band's last live appearance, you don't want to miss this show as there's no telling when or where the next one will be!
