Bring your own zines to swap with other zinemakers from around the country + overseas. Experience the culture of DIY publishing and have a look at heaps of different zines and comics.
If you have a zine or are making one that you would like to sell, we will sell them for you. Applications at http://zinefestchch.wordpress.com/selling-your-zine/, or just bring them on the day and swap them
Throughout the day there will be several presentations about zine culture as well as a number of poetry readings.
The schedule of events is looking a lil something like this:
12:30pm - Timothy Andrew - zine ethics
1:30pm - Brendon Ross - the importance of zines in pre-internet New Zealand music.
3pm - Ali from Rebel Press.
There will also be an array of delicious home baking, food and drinks available to purchase from The Archive.
