Youth Celebrates Christmas Concert

The Auckland Boys’ Choir and Auckland Girls’ Choir, with the support of The Lion Foundation are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with their annual concert, showcasing the very best of Auckland’s young choral singers.

The Youth Celebrates Christmas concert, jointly hosted by the Auckland Boys’ and Auckland Girls’ Choirs and involving a number of award-winning primary and intermediate school choirs across Auckland, will appeal to the whole family, and is expected to attract a full house.

“This event is an opportunity for families to come together and enjoy an evening of festive choral music,” says Mrs Leonie Lawson, MNZM and Director of Music for the Auckland Girls’ Choir. “Each of the children singing, and our audience at the event is asked to bring a small present to place under the tree, which will be donated to the patients at Kidz First Children’s Hospital at Middlemore.”

Tickets for the event are available from the Choirs or at the door, opening at 7.00pm.
