The Dyskworld returns to Wellington with Repertory’s staging of the classic Wyrd Sisters – a tale of magic manipulation, lost heirs, travelling players, a nasty duke and duchess, young love and the ramifications of a wandering droit.
This is Pratchett at his best, bending history and established literature to his own ends and creating an entertaining evening for all ages. Pratchett’s books are read by grandchildren and grandparents, and the stage show will also be suitable across that wide range. Wyrd Sisters will introduce a lot of new talent to the Repertory stage as only seven of the 20-strong cast have performed for Repertory before.
The late November-early December timing makes Wyrd Sisters a great forum for end-of-year corporate get-togethers, and we suggest anyone interested in such bookings should book early.
