Waiheke's Book Festival returns this November for its third year, with a feast of words poetry and art. After a sell-out in 2010, 2011 is flush with exciting authors and unique venues.
Book lovers, art lovers and poetry lovers, don’t miss Words on a Small Island Festival 2011 with recognised writer Lloyd Jones, NZ Post fiction award-winning author Laurence Fearnley The Hut Builder, and NZ master poet Jenny Bornholdt.
Gala opening with festival exhibitions at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery acclaimed artist Euan Macleod together with his biographer & fellow artist, Gregory O’Brien. Enjoy an inspirational afternoon of Deck Chair readings, including book launch of A Messy Affair by Caroline Lark.
Friday Gala at Waiheke Art Gallery.
Saturday sessions at Artworks Theatre.
