Be part of NZ poetry/spoken word history, as a participant on stage or as an audience member. Series of poets perform a piece 3 minutes or less, with the audience as judges. Come find poetry/spoken word fun, relevant and with something for everyone.
The top six of the 2nd heat night go into the Wellington Poetry Slam final following the heat where the top 3 of that go into the 1st ever NZ Poetry Slam, to be held in Wellington on October the 29th with the winner and 2 runner ups been flown to Melbourne in March 2012 to be part of the 1st ever Trans Tasman Poetry Slam.
