Sandwiches presents The Great Wellington Party DJ Battle. Vol.1.

To kick off the festive season Sandwiches have assembled a handpicked group of our favourite party starters and miscreants (past and present) for a wild night of jump up party antics. We’ve simply asked them to bring their biggest party bangers and rock the shit out of it! And with this crew in the building the bar is not safe!

There are no rules. Crowd reaction is everything. No holds barred, winner takes all!

It’s up to you, Wellington. Get your dancing shoes on!

And there are no excuses as it's free entry all night!

The line up:

Fried Chicken Soundsystem (aka Marek & DDog)
When it comes to rocking the parties these guys simply have no equals. Bass/funky/dubstep/hiphop whatever they do, they get the parties crunk, buckwild, and greasy... Guaranteed!

Cheap as Chips (aka Takas & B.Lo)
The debut performance of this new ‘super duo’ promises much! Fried Chicken or Fish and Chips... who’s got more grease?

Takas
Takas was playing in the sandwiches lounge and killing it every weekend when you were still in nappies! Some say he is the Jedi of holding down a party vibe to drink to, and there will have to be something pretty special to happen on the night to knock him of his top perch.

B.Lo
One of Wellington's DJs B.Lo has held down long standing residences at all of Wellington's hottest spots. With an ear for those special tunes that just make you have to dance his pairing with Takas makes for a formidable duo.

K+Lab
Part of the new breed K+lab is undoubtedly one of the busiest and best party rockers of 2011. His unique productions have been topping the download charts and his quick draw DJ sets have been wowing crowds up and down the country. A few months ago he even managed to impress the hell out of Krafty Kuts with a standout warm up set. "Nice clean mixing and the tunes are really good!" - Krafty kuts

Samu
After years of unleashing party sets as Sam- Silerbeatz. Samu is now a founding member of “Supper Club Shakedown” - A live hip hop tribute band, mixed like a DJ played like a band, your favourite jams non-stop! Back on the ones and twos for this night he’s determined to give Takas a run for his money.

Mikki Dee
Wellington native Mikki Dee has spent the last 10 years in Dublin, arriving via the 2000 Redbull Music Academy. He has since become a fixture in DJ booths and festivals across the world. His new sets merging audio & video have gained much attention in the club and event world with the ultimate party experience now delivered for eyes and ears... In the words of the man himself "let's make party”
