This exclusive food market is a definite Tauranga destination. Every Saturday morning, rain, hail or shine some 50 or more stallholders gather representing the region's seasonal fruits and vegetables, picked the day before or first thing that morning. Plus a wonderful variety of locally produced pickles, relishes, sauces and jams, fresh baking, hot wood smoked fish, fresh beef and lamb cuts, free range eggs and specialty foods that appeal to vegetarian and gluten free enthusiasts too. As a local or a visitor to the region, experience the environment of a true farmers' market in the historic grounds of the Tauranga Primary School.

The Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club members are currently at the Market. Come and meet them. Take a look at the IRB on display and some of the amazing photos that make up the history of the club. We all love our beaches, especially at this time of year with summer about to lure us into the water. Support this Club and the Life Guards who make our beaches safe. All the proceeds of the ticket sales of the Christmas Hampers go to the Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club.

Festive Season Dates:
Main Christmas Market Saturday 17th December. Christmas Hampers Drawn at 10.15am. Tickets must be there to win. If you can't make it with your ticket give it to a friend or someone who is coming to the Market. Hampers full of fresh and artisan market food - 6 draws. Proceeds to Omanu Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Tickets available every Saturday including the 17th December. $2 each. Be in to win.
Evening Market Thursday 22nd December 5pm to 7pm at the school. Loads of all that popular market food, perfect for Christmas entertaining.
Saturday 24th December normal market hours - bring your family and friends that have arrived for Christmas in the Bay!!
Saturday 31st December - stock up with ready made and fresh food from the Market for the New Year celebrations.
