T Party presents: Fritterhead

We are proud to present the return of 'Fritterhead' (one of New Zealand's finest percussion ensembles) preceded by a solo performance by fine young Wellington violinist: Tristan Carter.

Some of you may remember Fritterhead's T party appearance earlier this year when they wooed the audience with a rendition of their 'Hormonal suite' (how could one forget?).

On Tuesday the group returns with a slightly different line up and a repertoire that reflects the fact that we all want to celebrate our 'bright future' this festive season (so bring your dancing shoes, maybe a ritualistic implement or two).

Fritterhead will be:

Yair Katz (Middle Eastern hand drums)
Darren Harkness (Steel-belted radiation drum)
Chris O'Connor (western military drums)
Phil Dadson (sprong, gongs)
John Bell (baby xylophone, bongos, hand claps)
Jeff Henderson (styrene bandobox)

Special guest: Phil Dryson (Pitar)

The Enigmatic Tristan Carter will present a 15 minute solo set at 8 30pm. All we know about Mr Carter is that he will be fresh from a visit to Taiwan, and that he impressed the T Party talent scout team on their recent visit to the capital for the iiii festival. Don't miss this Tuesday!
