A spectacular stage show combining Strike and rapidly emerging percussion band Batterie 100.
Internationally-acclaimed percussion group Strike has selected top musical talent from schools in Wellington and Porirua to develop the Batterie 100. Gaining momentum over the last 18 months, the group has steadily developed its performance repertoire and honed its performance at local events. If you missed Tuesday's show at the Wellington Town Hall, here is your chance to see it for the Real Porirua Festival.
The show will include Strike’s trademark features - theatre, dance, invention and rhythmic intricacy - combined with the energy and verve of Batterie 100’s young performers.
Gold Coin donations will go towards further developing the Batterie 100 programme.
