Stars in the Skies - Cranford Hospice fundraiser

If you’re looking for a reason to escape the house and enjoy a different Friday night out, then look no further than ‘Stars in the Skies’, a unique fundraising event. Organisers Air Nelson guarantee an evening of top class entertainment, and are also generously donating all proceeds from the night to Hawke’s Bay’s Cranford Hospice.

Highlight of the evening is highly-acclaimed motivational guest speaker Marcus Akuhata-Brown. An experienced educator and gifted communicator, Marcus has led a number of innovative programmes around the world. Well-known as an amusing and inspiring public speaker, his work has focused on addressing the learning and developmental needs of youth at risk and young offenders. From 1996 to 2004 Marcus travelled all over the world as a diplomat, international representative and delegate to multilateral meetings.

Marcus encourages people to see themselves and the world in new ways - to realise the potential of each person to do small things with great care and humanity. You will walk away feeling inspired by his motivational & perceptive talk, and enthused by his unique and refreshing perspective on issues we face daily.

In addition to special guest speaker Marcus, Air Nelson has other ‘surprises’ lined up for the night, which are guaranteed to amuse and entertain! Air Nelson is a keen supporter of Cranford Hospice, and invite everyone to come along and support this worthwhile local cause.
