The NZSO National Youth Orchestra is well established as New Zealand’s pre-eminent training orchestra; a rare opportunity bringing together the best young musicians from around the country to work with the principal musicians of the NZSO and artists of international calibre and repute.

In an exciting coup for the National Youth Orchestra the 2011 residency will be conducted by James Judd, NZSO Music Director Emeritus. Bringing with him a life long commitment to music education, this promises to be a collaboration which will be truly memorable.
