Snow Park Snow 7s

Rugby on snow? Absolutely! Come to Otago’s Snow Park Snow 7s during Rugby World Cup 2011 and we’ll show you how it’s done.

Drawing from rugby clubs in the greater Otago region, along with two invitational teams made up of Rugby World Cup visitors, Snow 7s teams will be asked to adopt a Rugby World Cup country and to represent them on "the field".

Located at Snow Park NZ, just 20 minutes drive from Wānaka, the Snow 7s rugby field will undoubtedly be one of the most picturesque and interesting you’ve ever come across.

Alongside the rugby there are plenty of activities to keep you amused at the Snow Park NZ terrain park — the ultimate freestyle Mecca for skiers and boarders of all abilities. A snow playground offering jumps, rails, boxes, wall rides and New Zealand’s only quarter pipe and super pipe.

The Woolshed Restaurant and Bar adjoins the rugby field and there are luxury apartments and bunkrooms available should you wish to stay for a few days.
