The long awaited South Wing extension will open to the public on 3 September. With 55% more gallery space, the $22 million development will house two new art galleries, and a major new exhibition Ngā Pūmanawa o Te Arawa featuring stunning design, lighting and special effects. To celebrate Rotorua Museum will host a festival of special events including free activities, music, performances. So come on down and be in to win some great prizes.
Entry free with admission to Museum. Locals and Under 5's free.
