The Sport World Cup will celebrate the Rugby World Cup and sport in general. The event will test junior students' (Year 1 – 4) skills as they work around a number of sport stations.

Sports that will be involved include: rugby, netball, hockey, football, basketball, cricket, tennis, triathlon, and gymsports! Skills at each station will be appropriate for junior school aged children.

Schools will work their way around stations until all have been completed. The school with the most points at the end will be the winner of the Sport World Cup Festival Trophy.

While this is a great way to promote sport to the kids it will also offer extra learning opportunities. Each school that participates will adopt a country and will be encouraged to learn all about that county.
