The International Spring Festival is a unique, vibrant and innovative annual event (previously known as the Sakura Festival) that the people of Palmerston North can honourably claim as their own way of celebrating the diversity of cultures.

There are many activities at the Festival, most of which are free to the public. The festival will have a main stage that will feature a number of ethnic dances and performances, the IPC Drum team will perform as will the Yosakoi Group. There will be a large selection of international food stalls, martial arts demonstrations, Arts and Craft stalls, and some of the teaching blocks will be transformed with displays from different countries, including children’s games from Japan.

Each year IPC arranges for a shuttle service of free buses from The Square, and from Fitzherbert Avenue, in Palmerston North to the College from 10.45 am until 4.30 pm.
