Nelson Wineart is planning an exciting series of events to be held during the Rugby World Cup. Nelson Wineart is taking the competition off the rugby field and into the winery with a unique competition between aromatic wines from Italy, USA and Nelson. Each country will submit its First XV and they will be judged blind by Sam Kim (NZ), Leslie Sbrocco (USA), Riccardo Castaldi (Italy) and chaired by Ralph Kyte-Powell (Australia).
Following the competition is an exciting series of events including this Tutored Tasting of the Winning Wines.
Meet the judges and evaluate the Italian, American and Nelson wines entered in the competition. The judges will explain what made particular wines stand out, but you will of course be able to make up your own mind. Fine canapes will be served.
