The newly-formed "Howard Morrison Jr Trio" pay homage to New Zealand's greatest entertainer Sir Howard Morrison OBE by bringing to life a musical collage of songs that not only defined an era but also helped catapult the Howard Morrison Quartet & Sir Howard into the pages of New Zealand's musical history.

The HMJ Trio have created a show that embraces the same performance principles, style and flair of the world renowned Maori show bands of yesterday, but always with the attitude of striving to fulfil the needs of an ever-demanding audience.

Howard Morrison Jnr, Russell Harrison and Chris Powley come to breathe life back into songs that helped shape a nation with beautiful harmonies and world class performances, whilst at the same time rekindling the forgotten art of entertaining.
