The Hastings Blossom Parade dates back to the 1950s and is very much a part of the region’s identity. Over 1000 people take part in the parade which is a multi-cultural community-based celebration of the end of winter and the beginning of a new cycle. This year the parade welcomes the French and the Canadian teams who are playing their pool match the next day in Napier.
