Riccarton Bush is a really special place - the big trees here are hundreds of years old. It is home to lots of special plants and animals which rely on each other to survive.
Come and meet them at our special family fun day, to celebrate Conservation Week. Held at the Riccarton Bush scout hall, Ngahere St.
Pick up a booklet for a self-guided tour, or come on one of our organised adventures!
Find a kiwi egg, suck up bugs with a pooter and take a different look at the forest! Live critters on display, sensory trails and games and activities for the whole family.
Our event partners are: Riccarton Bush Trust, Te Runanga o Ngāi Tahu, Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, Orana Park, Forest and Bird, Arthur's Pass Wildlife Trust, Enviroschools.
