Richard Nunns is one of New Zealand’s most remarkable musicians. From his early days playing avant-garde jazz, this Pakeha has become a living authority on taonga puoro – Maori traditional instruments. A master musician, he has contributed to soundtracks for movies from Whale Rider to Lord of the Rings, embarks on international collaborations from Istanbul to the Faroe Islands, and has music especially composed for him. A NZ Music Hall of Fame member, Richard movingly celebrates an ancient instrumental tradition.

Held in the TelstraClear Club, North Hagley Park Events Village.
