Barry Saunders is one of New Zealand's most respected and dynamic songwriters. He has penned songs such as ‘Maureen’, ‘Hands of My Heart’ and ‘Rescue Me’ and ‘Fool’s Paradise’.

Barry Saunders is one of New Zealand's most consistently successful recording artists, having sold more than 100,000 albums with his band The Warratahs (for which he also writes the songs) and his three solo albums. Barry has won numerous awards, including 'Songwriter of the Year', 'Vocalist of the Year', and twice won 'Country Album of the Year'.

He has toured New Zealand and Australia extensively plus has performed before Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne and many others. He also invited to perform at the prestigious South X Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas.

Now, with his new album 'Far As The Eye Can See', Saunders celebrates both art and music, with 14 New Zealand artists visually interpreting his songs.

Barry frequently performs solo, often in small cafes and halls across the country – his music and performance style a good fit for small, musical venues.

He will be performing songs from his last albums ‘Zodiac’ and ‘As Far As The Eye Can See’.
