The monthly Auckland Jazz Orchestra "Homegrown" series continues at the Masonic in Devonport next Thursday 8 September. This time featuring Brian Smith on Sax the band boasts some of Auckland's best musicians who present New Zealand arrangements and compositions with all the subtlety and impact only a big band can deliver! Good parking, good music, great band.
There's a 2 for one meal deal from 5.30, 10 dollar cover charge from 7.30 - 2 sets.
The AJO depends on the support of a pool of like minded musicians whose primary goal is to provide a platform for local arrangers and composers.
