The Film Archive's compilation The Way it Was, showcases Auckland from 1917 with clips of the Flying School at Kohimaramara, the Western Springs Transit Camp, the Auckland Zoo in 1930 and other compelling scenes. Silent footage will have live piano accompaniment.
