Christmas party - Sensorium3 - featuring trance & progressive with DJs TripfOre and Fireboy.
TripfOre bio:
Early 2004, Reece Dwyer, a Whangarei-born electronica enthusiast like many, kicked off his industry pursuit spinning on traditional vinyl, inspired by the greats of this time, found himself a real passion for the art of mixing. Soon after purchasing his own gear, he began performing his new found skill for friends and the odd birthday. This passionate entertainer's momentum on the scene has quickly gained him merit of the Northland 1st DJ, achieving these levels of excellence in the genre of trance and progressive.
Stepping foot onto a stage to play to his first crowd in 2008 alongside Karn Hall in Whangarei for Eleven O Seven, held at the area's main event centre, TripfOre's bouncy passionate love of the beat has not slowed at all. Since then he has promoted and spun at many local club nights with a devotion to exposing young, sought after talent to his Northland abode, hosting the likes of Wade Marriner, James Ashwin, Adelade Carleton, Mike 'Sharky' Sommerville, Jenna Doodes, Tom Barnett, Tania M and more. He was co-promoter for the massive RYZ party in Whangarei and is running a bi-yearly trance night called 'Sensorium'.
His first well-established, reputable gig came in 2010, opening the progressive room at Euphoria 3 in Auckland only to be booked again for the next up and coming Euphoria event. From then he joined forces with 3 other Auckland DJs to partake in the popular annual Madis Gras event held in Ohakune later that year. The most exciting opportunity in his career came when TripfOre featured alongside Adelaide Carleton and opened the main room of Ministry of Sound Trance Nation in support of The Dutch-born DJ/producer and hotlist international MaRLo (Australia). In October he played an exciting selection of Tech house and electro trance to a pumped up room at Slinky and lately hosted Doc Westies Northern leg of his New Zealand Rawktober Breaks Tour.
TripfOre's focus for 2012 moves towards music production and he hopes to release tracks for both past and future DJs and, patrons alike. Also to play a significant part in the promotion and awareness of well strung gems of house/breaks and trance to a deprived Northland audience. His willingness to be an advocate to his piers shows real substance identified in past supporting roles with many more coming your way!
Consistent dedication brings massive energy to a dance floor and an ability to arouse many different moods and feeling through the music he selects makes for an exhilarating experience.
Not to be missed!
