Parnell Farmers' Market is celebrating spring with our Hello Spring event. The morning includes a cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Julie Biuso as part of the Out Standing in their Fields national roadshow, along with plenty of entertainment for the kids - face painting, Walnut the Clown and Old Macdonald's barnyard petting zoo. There's also a special Auckland Domain Heritage Walk leaving from the market, and Auckland Mayor Len Brown and Deputy Mayor Penny Hulse are booked in to attend as well.
The market is in the car park behind the brick Jubilee Building, home to the Parnell Library and Parnell Community Centre. Free parking for 90 cars during market hours at 47 George Street – these are graciously supplied by our neighbour AECOM, across the street from the George Street market entrance.
