Living mindfully - the medicine of deep listening. Come and spend a retreat weekend with Sr Macrina Wiederkehr O.S.B. (USA).
Many of us experience a restless longing, an unfathomable yearning that seems to have no name. The saints and poets name it well when they speak of this yearning as homesickness for God. We are seeking the ground of our being. We are searching for the deepening places.
We do not have to live in a monastery to dwell in those "deepening places". We have within us an inner monk. We can practice living in the "presence" right in the midst of the beautiful struggle of daily life. We all have within us a place of communion where, if we pause for deep listening, we hear God breathing in us. Learn to honour the soul's need for reflection.
