Peter Rowley spent five glorious years writing and performing with New Zealand icon Billy T James, and now we finally have a chance to hear his wonderful stories. At last, a proper celebration of a partnership that touched the hearts and minds of a nation.

Billy T & Me is made up of a delightful mix of Peter telling stories as only someone of his calibre can, and clips from Billy’s TV series. You’ll recognise the Lands For Bags rip off, the painted Porsche and Turangi Vice, some of the most memorable moments in New Zealand comedy.

Peter himself has appeared in over 40 New Zealand productions including legendary shows such as Pete & Pio, McPhail and Gadsby, Letter to Blanchy and Footrot Flats: A Dog’s Tale.

This is a marvellous trip down a hilarious memory lane to honour one of our great comedians, one that is a fitting acknowledgement of the cheekiness and absurdity that filled our living rooms with laughter.
