Mission Bay Art & Craft Market

This popular market was established in 1996 and has grown so that around 200 sites now cover Selwyn Reserve (the park around the Mission Bay fountain) selling all sorts of arts and craft as well as gourmet food items.

The market has been held on Auckland Anniversary Monday but in 2010 a trial second market was added on public holiday Labour Day and proved to be so successful the stallholders asked for it to become a regular event.

The focus is on New Zealand designed and made items and there are some wonderfully creative people who travel from all over Auckland, Northland, Hamilton and the Bay of Plenty to this popular venue and sites at this market are always snapped up quickly.
