Guests will enjoy a meandering journey through aviation history while enjoying the very best Wairarapa wine and food. From 11.30am visitors will enjoy a fascinating tour of the Vintage Aviator (one of the world’s largest privately owned collections of WWI aircraft) and Old Stick & Rudder (which comprise some classic WWII fighters) Collections. Once the tour is completed guests will move into the George Hood Aviation Museum for a four course food & wine match lunch hosted by some of the Wairarapa regions award winning winemakers.
For those who want to really whet their appetite the opportunity exists for a 20 minute introductory membership Tiger Moth flight prior to lunch for an additional cost – price on application.
