The Hawke's Bay A&P Show, hosted by the Hawke's Bay A&P Society, is the largest event held in Hawke's Bay and the only event in the region to be held on Hawke's Bay Anniversary Day which is a public holiday. The Show brings together town and county and does attract the widest possible cross section of the community. The show will feature a myriad of trade sites selling everything from tractors to teaspoons. The outstanding Mahon Amusements - side shows with something for everyone, top class New Zealand Show-jumping and live stock competitions for sheep, alpacas, and cattle. The children's Animal World, will once again offer the children the opportunity to get up close and friendly with a variety of farm animals including lambs, goat kids, miniature cattle, chicks and much, much more.
