Just because there's no rugby on today doesn't mean you can't party! On the eve before the much-anticipated Grand Final, Rugby meets the RaceDay at Ellerslie - and it's the perfect excuse for a party!

With a city full of sports fans from all over New Zealand and the globe, this is one RaceDay where the whole world can mix and mingle in style! You, your clients, colleagues and friends are invited to join us for a thrilling day of thoroughbred racing including live coverage of the Cox Plate (from Australia) before partying it up after the last race at our famous Birdcage Bash!

If you're an entertainment seeker in Auckland who's looking for a great event - this is it!

Based on last year's RaceDay timings you can expect...

- Racecourse gates, public & Ascot Stands to open at about 10.30am;
- Hospitality options to open at 11.30am;
- First race to run at about 12.20pm;
- Last race to run at about 6.10pm;
- Then the Birdcage Bash will kick off in Cuvée!

We have extensive free car parking oncourse and are a 7-10 minute drive from Auckland CBD. A nearby train station is just a short walk away.

Please note that a car fair will be taking place in the Southern Motorway caraprk on the Sunday. If you park in here for the RaceDay on Saturday please ensure you don’t leave your vehicle there overnight as you risk the chance of it being towed.
