When the day is done and you’ve cast your vote, come and join us for an eclectic night of Australasian uke talent with the seriously funny grand masters of NZ uke, The Big Muffin Serious Band, Perth’s quirky Tyrone, Ak’s very own bad boys of uke, The Nukes, and young Australian virtuoso Thom Jackson. Whether your uke is red blue or green, whether you will be commiserating or celebrating, or whether you just want to wallow in political apathy, the 2011 Uke-Election Concert is the place to be!
Election updates will be on screen and a cash bar and food will give you all the sustenance you need. It’ll be the best election party in town, and you’re invited!
This event is part of the New Zealand Ukulele Festival 2011.
