The aim of the Maunga Cycle Challenge is to involve and encourage the community to be active, promote the Waikato, the Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust Education Facility, and provide a challenge of riding around the majestic Maungatautari Mountain.
The Maunga has events for all ages and abilities; individual, family and school challenges. While you ride, there are games, fun and challenging activities for kids with Team Energize from Sport Waikato on Albert Park.
