Once again Ohaupo School PTA and major sponsors RSS Steel and Waipa District Council are hosting a fun, family-orientated gala culminating with a professional fireworks display at dusk.

Featuring plenty of fun activities including: live entertainment from a local band, medieval fighting displays, sideshows, bouncy castles, mini jeeps, chair-a-plane rides, golf putting, crockery smash, hot food, fresh new season strawberries, stalls. All culminating with a professional fireworks display.

This year the Haunted House will be hosted by the Taumata Guides and Ranges, so expect even more scares and thrills.

Hosted by Ohaupo School PTA, this fundraising event also supports a number of non-profit organisations, including: Ohaupo Plunket; Ohaupo Playcentre; Ohaupo Rugby Club; Ohaupo/Ngahinapouri Lions; Pirongia School PTA. Taumata Guides and Ranges and others.

If your non-profit group wants to run a stall or side show please contact the organisers for more information. Priority will be given to supporters from previous years and local Waipa groups. There is no site fee for these groups. This is an ideal opportunity to raise funds/profile of your group

Free parking in Forkert Road, follow the sign. Be there early to get a good park. Mobility pass holders may enter through the Main Gate on Forkert Road for direct access to the gala.

At the end of the night please be patient and follow the instructions of the traffic management staff

No alcohol or personal fireworks please.

Thanks to our sponsors, RSS Steel, Waipa District Council, Hirequip.

@rachelehopper, i know it sucks, we had to save for it too, what a pity you didnt know earlier, but dont give up, your lil princess can still be part of the fireworks fun, make a nighttime adventure of it, pack a picnic from home and make a nest in your car for your girl..blankets, pillows and a torch and park on the road nearby and at about 9.30 you will both take in all the action for free and in cosy style. Its well worth it the display is amazing, you dont have to be on the school grounds to see it. Go on get her packing her fav blanket and pillow now and tell her she can take one teddy friend to share the night with, dont forget to have a fairy nap now so she will be awake!! good luck x
